Samsung Electronics has announced a new camera phone, the Samsung Anycall G608. Housed in an ebony black metallic casing and equipped with a 5.0 mega-pixel camera and a built-in 16.7 million color TFT LCD, the G608 is a fusion of design, photography and the ultimate in phone functionality.

A design icon and high performance camera in one, the G608 is made to capture quality pictures as easily as with a digital camera. The first Samsung Anycall mobile with a 5.0 mega-pixel will prove popular with those who simply won’t compromise on picture quality. In addition, an auto-brightness sensor, high sensitive shot image stabilizer feature and Power LED Flash, means that you can still get the perfect shot even in unfavorable conditions. Samsung Anycall G608 also hosts a set of other digital camera features to complete the photography credentials of this phone “ multi shooting mode, image editor and up to 2GB of microSD.

Asus has announced a new Windows Mobile PDA-phone, the P527. The terminal doesn’t have HSDPA or 3G, but all others like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are available. The P527 comes with a 2 megapixels camera, a microSD card slot, GPS and all this on a 2.6 inches QVGA display. The new Asus phone will be available in Taiwan and Hong Kong at the end of November.
